Aching Arms Puppet Team

Welcome to our site.

Aching Arms are a Christian puppet team linked to New Life Christian Fellowship in Fleckney. Leicesterhsire. We have been together now since 2006, and have grown together as a group with Gods help.

We started out small just doing the occasional sunday morning service, 10 mins slot using pre-recored music from  oneway uk.Moving on we have taken 20 minutes school assemblies, where we have performed plays connected together with songs. Wow what a response you get from a hall full of 200 children. We have taken part in fetes and church's together fun days which have been a challenge performing outdoors and also really exciting, here we did 3, 15-20 minutes slots during a day.

One of our biggest bookings was to perform in Leicester City at the Easter event "Christ in the Centre" and "Jesus Loves Leicester" events. Arranged by the Leicester joint churches.we were able to share Gods love with the people of Leicester and this was a real joy for us all.

Each event is prayed through and planned. Then a lot of practice goes into the songs or sketches.And then the peformance. God has really blessed us each time we perform by giving us the energy and a real sense of Gods love at the events.

Now we take part in :-

•          Church Events,   
•          Fundays         School assemblies
•          Pre-school's
•          Fetes'
•          Outreach events

Our mission is to spread the love of God to those around us. We use songs and plays to do this. Children(of all ages!) seem to enjoy this. We are always looking for new opportunities and welcome any invitations to join with outreach events; we recently took part in a churches together fun day, which was very hot,but a great day sharing the Love of Jesus. We pray God will continue to bless our work and keep teaching us new skills, allowing us to share the Good News about Jesus with others.Recently we have been reduced to 4 puppeters But also 1 person who does our upfront/talking for us. We feel this is a great benefit to us and a new way in which God is guiding us as a team.We believe God is moving us on to new things and new events where we can spread Gods word to a needy world.

More recently we have been going a little further afield,away from Leicestershire. (see our news page)

we have been invited to attend church outreach services in, North Walsham, St Neots and Stratford.  God has

really been showing us an new thing and with the help of Steve who now fronts up for us , we have seen an

amazing few months, of witness for Jesus with the puppet Team. God keeps showing us new things and we pray

this continues. as we change and evolve.
